Health Care Reform: Medicare Buy-In DOA?

I have written several times on the views of Robert Laszewski who publishes a blog called Memorandum of health care and Marketplace. He just published his theory that the buy-in Medicare proposed by Senator Reid as a tool to move in anticipation of a "public option" is lifeless. This is a comment so strong an understanding and well-connected insiders.

Assuming that is accurate Laszewski, which puts Reid in a precarious position.
